Switzerland Shoot

We just wrapped a big shoot in Switzerland with Ueli Steck for a future REEL ROCK Film. Ueli has spent the last year or so learning how to fly a paraglider with the idea in mind of using it to descend from high peaks and to climb multiple peaks in a day. The modern gliders are so light and compact that he is able to carry his entire kit on his back while he speed-solos a mountain, then bust it out on the summit, and if the wind allows, fly down to the base of the next peak and keep on climbing... Here are some behind the scenes images from our efforts to tell the story of Ueli's new direction.
